The bionic vision may sound like science fiction, but Dr. Michael Beyeler is working to make this come true in the sight of thousands of blind people throughout the world.
Dr. Beyeler of Swiss origins is finishing his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington before moving to the University of California at Santa Barbara to direct the newly created Bionic Vision Lab in the Departments of Computer Science and Psychology and Brain.
